Been awake since 4:30 this morning, had to wake up early to do my PT test for AFROTC. I'm pretty sure I passes but not with flying colors. Gotta work on that.
Other stuff... yarg. I think I'd rather just bramble on and on about random stuff since all I'm really doing right now is transmitting everything from my BRAIN onto this piece of text. Although I have millions of things flashing through my mind, I'm letting my fingers sort of dictate whatever thought is dominating the moment.
My English teachers have a word for this... I think it's called free association or something. Basically you write everything that comes to mind when you're trying to brainstorm for something. Though I've never brainstormed (willingly) for any essay ever in my life, it's kind of intersting when you're writing about something personal.
So yeah, played ODST with my buddy for a while, firefight is epic. Fighting off wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave of Covenant is Bungie's way of saying "hey guys, we know you love to hear the brutes say things like 'let's huddle closely, for warmth!' or the grunts saying 'smell my gas!' (they breath methane), so we're going to give you the chance to hear them saying that, while you're shooting them in the head in the most Rambo-eske fashion you can dream of!". Ah, good old Bungie.
I guess that's why I like Halo more than Modern Warfare. Sure, MW is a really good game, definitely good for military training and such, but Halo is just so... unserious. Sure you have the Covenant, a band of super religious alien races bent of destroying the human race, that's serious enough. You have a lot of military protocol as well. But it's the little things that make Bungie say "hey, we were teens too. We know exactly what you guys think is hilarious and epic."
Halo's great. That's all I gotta say about that.
I may sound like the biggest Halo junkie in the world, but it's one of my four prime interests. The other three being Metroid, ReBoot, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
If you've never heard of ReBoot, or watched it, GO ON YOUTUBE AND WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!!!!! It's awesome. The first 2 seasons are kind of kiddie, but the end of the second to the third is epic beyond belief. Enzo Matrix goes from a little dorky kid to the definition of badass, complete with a super gun and a hot babe for a girlfriend. Megabyte goes from this inconvenient villain to a Hitler-like dictator, and the source of absolute terror. Definitely awesome, go watch it. Now. Right now. Don't read the rest of this journal, go watch it now. Do it. Believe in yourself. Overcome your laziness of simply moving your arm and WATCH IT.
And as for the rest of this journal... I think I'm done procrastinating and wasting your time. I've gotta go to bed since I have to wake up at five tomorrow... UUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg gggggggggggggggggggggggg........................................................................................
Yeah.
